Games from Mrs. Roberts: Take the number of days we celebrate Chanukah.
Subtract the number of patriarchs (founding fathers of Judaism, Abraham...)
Multiply by the number of days we celebrate Rosh Hashannah at synagogue.
What is your answer?
Here's a little challenge for you to try.
We hope you will find it to be fun as the weeks go by.
Each and every week in this place
You will find two new questions in this very space.
One will be about the Parashah or Bible story for that week.
The other will be a Jewish math problem that will make you think
And also there will be a Jewish word
It may even be one that you have heard
Write down the answers and bring them in on Wednesday to school
And you will get a little prize that we hope you will think is cool.
Jewish Vocabulary Word of the week.....
What is a minyan?
Question from Parashah Toledot
